LCMA convenes 123rd BPA meeting; approves 82 cases on merit

The J&K Lake Conservation & Management Authority (LCMA) today convened 123rd meeting of the Building Permission Authority (BPA) under the chairmanship of Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Vice Chairman, LCMA at Dockyard, Nishat, NFR-Srinagar, here.

The agenda for the meeting was discussed threadbare and 88 cases were decided out of which 82 were approved, 02 cases were deferred while 04 cases were rejected by the BPA on merits. Among others, Chief Town Planner of Kashmir, Joint Commissioner (P) SMC, Secretary JKLCMA, Collector JK LCMA, Executive Engineer Lake Division 2nd  LCMA, Executive Engineer Electric Inspection Division, Enforcement Officers LCMA and  representatives of Executive Engineer  UEED Division 1st, PHE,  Tehsildar Khanyar and Tehsildar Nazool  as members of the Building Permission Authority were present in the meeting.

Moreover, Enforcement Wing of LCMA today took a demolition drive in the areas of Babademb, Laam Nishat, Ishber Shalimar, Kanitar/Saderbal, Batpora, Harwan and Hazratbal where 03 double Storeys, 03 Single  Storeys, 01 Plinth, 03 tin walling, 02 Truss / Roofing and 01 three Storey structures were  demolished/ removed.
