NCC Cadets of 1st J&K Girls Battalion NCC Srinagar, Govt College for Women Udhampur, celebrated ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day).Pledge taken ceremony and run for unity were organized by 1 J&K Girls BN NCC, GCW Udhampur, under the patronage of the principal of the college Dr. Monika Sharma on the college campus.

As many as 70 cadets participated in these activities. They took pledge to stay united and also participated in the run holding placards and flags to spread the message of unity and to pay a tribute to the national hero.

Earlier I/c ANO, Shallu Jasrotia highlighted the importance of the day and briefed about the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is also known as the Iron man of India.
