On day two of the ‘Back to Village’ phase fourth, a massive public response was witnessed across Udhampur district.Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Rahul Yadav, who was the visiting officer for Mantalai interacted with PRI members and officers of Line departments at the local Panchayat Ghar.
He inaugurated village Haat at NTPC Mantalai and also visited Yoga Centre Mantalai.During the day, the Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jammu also participated in Cultural and sports activities.
The visiting officers, while interacting with the PRIs and general public in different Panchayats of the district, had an elaborate feedback on the implementation of the government schemes in the area.
The Visiting Officers enquired from the Panchayat representatives and public about the ongoing developmental works and flagship schemes on the ground.The day also witnessed inauguration of newly completed works, sports and cultural activities, Plantation drives, Gram, Bal and Mahila Sabhas, inspection of development works, discussion of Gram Panchayat Plans etc.
