Director Rural Development Department Jammu, Mohd. Mumtaz Ali visited Panchayat Androoth, Block Qila Darhal and reviewed the status of saturation of individual beneficiary oriented schemes besides developmental activities being carried out by various Departments during the fifth phase of Back to Village.

The Director also inspected completed/ongoing works under PRIs, DDC, BDC grants, CD & Pyt, PHE, PWD (R&B), PDD, Social Welfare besides, inauguration of PMAY-(G) houses in the panchayat and extended congratulations to the beneficiaries for constructing pacca houses under the scheme.

A meeting was also held with field functionaries of various departments and PRIs to know the gaps under individual beneficiary oriented schemes where departmental representatives apprised about the status of their respective schemes.

The Director inspected various schools to have an overview of infrastructure and staff position in the schools besides enrollment. He visited Kaki Kote, Nalli areas of the panchayat and interacted with the locals and PRIs to find out the bottle necks, if any.

A Gram Sabha was also held wherein GPDP was discussed and finalized during the meeting.BDO Qila Darhal, Sarpanch, PRI Members and various field functionaries of different departments accompanied the Director during the visit.
