Families of passengers and cabin crew gathered in Malaysia to commemorate the 100th day of the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 and to mark Father's Day, media reported Monday. The event was organised by Voice370, a next-of-kin association of 205 families of the MH370 passengers, which aims to “seek the truth behind” the disappearance of the ill-fated flight, the Malaysian Star reported. With her husband Mohamad Hazrin Mohamed Hasnan, who was a cabin crew, still missing, Intan Maizura Othman is juggling being both a mother and father to her two children.“It’s a tiring task that I have to do alone now; taking care of my kids, waking up alone and coping with all this. It has been challenging,” Intan said.“I’m okay but now that it has come to a hundred days, it’s getting more painful and tiring. I’ve grown restless of just waiting,” she said.

Friends of MH370's pilot, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, expressed sadness that the plane had yet to be found and shared fond memories of him.“He is someone you can never hate. He is very humble and nice,” said Mohd Nasir, who has known Capt Zaharie for more than 40 years.Relatives of those on-board the MH370 launched a fund-raising campaign last week to find information regarding the whereabouts of the aircraft.Reward MH370, headed by Ethan Hunt, a technology company chief, will be conducted via a fund-raising website called Indiegogo.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 vanished mysteriously about an hour after taking off for Beijing from Kuala Lumpur shortly after midnight March 8.The Boeing 777-200ER was scheduled to land in Beijing the same morning. The 227 passengers on board included five Indians, 154 Chinese and 38 Malaysians. The ongoing search for the missing jet is being conducted by Australia off its western coast up to an area 60,000 sq km in the southern Indian Ocean where underwater pings were detected earlier. The Malaysian government said in a statement issued last week that the country will keep searching for MH370 for as long as it takes.
