In pursuance the directions of J&K LSA, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal today organized a Special Lok-Adalat  under the Chairmanship of Jeema Bashir, Chairperson District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal. 

In the said Lok-Adalat, Three benches were constituted for the amicable settlement of cases.Overall 348 cases were taken up for settlement out of which 299 cases were amicably settled/Compromised on spot. Rs. 1,16,500 was awarded as Bank recovery. Rs 79500 was recovered as fine for violations under different statutes.
