Health and Anemia check up camps conducted by RBSK Kishtwar

Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) teams of Block Kishtwar organized a series of Health Check up & Anemia Camps in different Panchayats of Drabshalla block under the guidance and supervision of Block Medical Officer Kishtwar, Dr Sat Lal Manhas and in collaboration with ICDS Department Drabshalla.

In the camp, the children were screened by Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Team, besides awareness about the health and hygiene was also imparted in the camps. Free Iron folic, Albendazole  medicines were also distributed among the children and Pregnant ladies.

  Dr Nazir Hussain, Medical Officer, Anemia Camps under "Anemia Mukt Bharat Campaign '' said that camps were held ward wise/Panchayat Wise from 16 October to 26 October 2022 for the identification of Anemic beneficiaries in collaboration with ICDS Department.

Staff members of ICDS, Anganwadi centers (AWC)  and the public of the areas thanked the whole RBSK team for Medical /Anemia Camps in their Area/Centers. It is to be mentioned here that Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) scheme is a sub Scheme under National Health Mission (NHM) in which children in age group 0-18 years are screened /detect for the 4Ds and then referred to District Early Intervention Center (DEIC) of District Hospital Kishtwar for further treatment and management.All treatment and medicines are given free of cost, he informed.
