Bigg Boss season 16 is on the way to provide entertainment to every lover of this reality show. Bigg Boss had an amazing format throughout the week. During this week a lot of fluctuations have been seen between the contestants and new bonds built between the contestants.
Gautam Vig was the captain of Bigg Boss House for a week, and he took a bold decision during his captaincy. He took the decision to give punishment to Shalin Bhnaot when Shalin pushed Archana Gautam when they all were helping their selected challenger to win captaincy. Shalin was in favour of Gautam, and to make him win, he has done all those things which he found right. When Archana is being pushed by Shalin, Archana asks Bigg Boss to take action. In response, Bigg Boss asks the captain to give his decision over the contestants' demands. He chose to give punishment to Shalin.
But on Monday’s episode, Bigg Boss called into the house and the call was picked up by Sumbul Touqeer Khan. Bigg Boss asks her to give the phone to Gautam. Bigg Boss told him that he is fired from his position of captaincy. Although BB asked Gautam to gather all the contestants in the living area.

Bigg Boss fired Gautam by giving the reason that Gautam has not performed his duty well. All the decisions which are taken by him during captaincy on the backfoot. All the time he has mentioned “Mujhe Bigg Boss Ne Bola Hai”, “ Mai Abhi Captaincy Ki Position Pe Hu To Mujhe Ye Karna Pad Raha Hai”.
Also, he asked everyone to take two names of whom they wanted to be the new challengers. All of them took Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Shiv Thakare’s names. They have to arrange the metal plates in order. During this task, the house is divided into two parts, and contestants can support whoever they want to. The majority of the contestants have shown their support for Shiv. Gautam Vig was ‘Sanchalak’ in this captaincy task. Priyanka was performing her task in the washroom area when Gautam declared her a disqualified contestant. He said the area where Priyanka was completing her task was a common room area and she could not do this there.
Meanwhile, the house got a new captain, who is Shiv Thakare. But according to BB, he has already said that it depends upon the challengers whether they can complete their task anywhere. Also, netizens said Gautam Vig was biassed. At the time of the task, no one was using the washroom, but still, he declared Priyanka was not consuming as far.

After the declaration of the winner of the task, which was Shiv, Priyanka went to him and congratulated him, but also asked the question of Gautam, why did he make this decision? Sajid Khan informed Shiv that Shalin Bhanot claimed Gautam made a biased decision.
