Minister of Governance Reforms Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer today inspected the Sewa Kendras of Rajpura and Patiala and initiated getting reviews from the public. The cabinet minister said that the digitization of all the departmental services is being executed under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

The Government has already started providing 183 services to the people over the phone through the Sewa  Kendras. This will save the time and energy of people seeking a certificate or document from Sewa  Kendras.

The Cabinet Minister told that the links of the certificates required for admission to the students on WhatsApp through a unique system are being sent. Students have got hassle-free service for their admission.

He further added that in the first phase, the government has eliminated the age-old inconvenient system of filling forms for services viz income and assets certificates, rural area certificates, the inclusion of name in the birth certificate, caste certificate and senior citizen identity card.

This will benefit the public in form of quicker and speedy processing of applications.Meet Hayer further said that more than 46 thousand certificates have been provided on applicants' mobile phones in the last four days. This will result in saving paper and the environment.

Apart from this, the token system has also been extensively improved.Meanwhile, feeling relieved from the services provided at the Sewa Kendras people appreciated the step and thanked Meet Hayer for the initiative. These services are a boon for senior citizens as they got the requested certificates by signing a single form without any inconvenience.

On this occasion Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal, Director Administrative Reformsh Girish Dayalan, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, S.S.P. Deepak Pareek, ADC Isha Singhal, SDMs Dr Ismat Vijay Singh and Dr Sanjeev Kumar and Assistant Commissioner (G) Kirpalveer Singh were present.
