Gurdwara Gurshabd Prakash Akal Ashram Sohana is organizing a grand Gurmati event on October 16 in memory of ‘Bhai Jasvir Singh ji Khalsa Singh Khanne wale’ while inaugurating Cancer Hospital. Gurmeet Singh, trustee of 'Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Charitable Trust' told the media that Devotees from different countries around the world will participate in this program. He further added that the religious event will start at 10 am and will continue till 10.30 pm.
He also informs that while taking inspiration from Bhai Jasveer Singh Khanne wale of serving humanity by building the eye for the welfare of humanity and making it successful, another step has been taken to contribute to the field of medical education and treatment to cure cancer.
Gurmeet Singh was Informed that multi-specialty services are turned into super-specialty medical services. On October 16, Cancer Institution will be inaugurated at Guru Harkrishan Sahib Charitable Hospital. It will be inaugurated at 1 pm and efforts will be started to treat the incurable disease of cancer.
The trustee further said that with the opening of a separate wing for cancer treatment in the super specialty hospital, high-quality treatment will be provided. It will be a complete cancer treatment hospital where services like radiation, surgical and medical oncology will also be available.
According to him, Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Charitable Eye Hospital Trust has been helping needy patients for the last 30 years. Apart from free eye treatment to needy/poor patients, high-level cancer screening camps will be organized in villages. According to him, after the inauguration of a cancer Hospital here, the hassle of patients traveling far away for treatment will be reduced.
