Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC), Sidhra in association with Directorate of Tourism Jammu, today organized “Women Putting Competition” to inculcate competitive spirit among the women golfers in Jammu.A good number of Women Players participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Ankita Sourav Sethi displayed some great skills and lifted the trophy, while Sunaina Gupta was the runner–up. Third place was bagged by Anushi Rishi.Joint Director Tourism Jammu, Sunaina Sharma who was Chief Guest on the occasion stated, ‘Putting contest is an innovative way to entice women players towards golf and nurture talent in women of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Secretary, Jammu Tawi Golf Course, Manav Gupta told the press that ‘several steps have been initiated to popularize the game of Golf in Jammu and such events of the same or higher scale will be organized on regular basis.’

National Golf Academy of India (NGAI) certified Professional Coach, Rohit Gupta and several sports lovers were present to grace the occasion.
