A few days after the Big Billion Sale Day on Flipkart, the online shopping app has been trending on Twitter. But this time for some negative reasons. Yes, you read that right. If you are a consumer of this online site, then you might have faced this issue. After the Big Billion Sale ended, Flipkart started cancelling people’s orders. Not only that, some faced delayed shipping and other accounts were blocked.
The users of this app have been infuriated over Flipkart. Online users shared screenshots of their cancelled orders on social media. While some customers claim to be awaiting a refund, others claim that despite their items having been dispatched days prior, they have still not received them.
Not only this, a meme fest has also started on Twitter. Take a look:
Meanwhile, it has been coming to light, Flipkart reported that throughout the holiday season, there were over 1 billion customer visits and 35 million app downloads leading up to the Big Billion Days sale. This time, the platform sold 3 sarees and 2 Kurtis every second, with 4 million first-time users. According to the report, premium mobile phones costing Rs 20,000 and higher made up over 50% of all mobiles sold.
Not everything, though, went smoothly without a few bumps. On Flipkart, a user ordered a laptop, but instead received packs of Ghadi detergent, and on Meesho, a user requested a drone but instead received potatoes. An Amazon customer had ordered an Apple Watch but it was delivered in place of it. The Big Dussehra Sale 2022, which begins on October 5 and finishes on October 8, is currently being prepared for by Flipkart. This sale will give discounts and promotions on its products just like BBD.
