District Development Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today visited to the Government Girls Higher Secondary School and interacted with the students of the institution in general and with the winners of District level competition organised under the theme Non Violence, Truth and Gandhian philosophy.
The DDC urged the students to inculcate the teachings of Gandhian philosophy in their lives for the overall development of their personality. Besides, he said that Gandhian philosophy is imperative to maintain peace and communal harmony in the society.
The DDC asked the students to actively participate in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and Swachh Bharat Mission Campaign ongoing in the district, besides urging them to become the ambassador of these campaigns in their respective areas.
The DDC, while interacting with the winners of the District Level Competition, congratulated them for their achievement, and wished them best of luck for the next level going to be held at UT level.
