Today in village Nandpur Kalor, under the chairmanship of President Kulwant Singh and Vice President Inderjit, Jasvir Singh Dhillon and Mandeep Singh, "70th Baba Rodu Unforgettable Sports Fair" was organized in collaboration with the entire team of Dashmesh Sports Club.

On this occasion, MP Jassar Senior Vice President, Punjab United Bureau of Human Rights and Crime Control arrived as the chief guest and started the final Kabaddi match by performing the ribbon cutting ceremony. Addressing on the occasion, M.P. Jassar said that every year large scale sports fairs are organized in both Nandpur and Kalor villages to show unity, brotherhood towards each other and all the kabaddi players from Punjab or near by districts are invited to participate in these events. 

The feeling of unity, brotherhood and love towards each other should be learned from these villagers, so that the feeling of love for each other can be awakened by starting growing the plant of unity in every house of the whole of Punjab.  

Seeing this love, Jassar gave a cash gift of Rs.11,000/- to the members of Dasmesh Sports Club, so that their spirit could be encouraged.On this occasion M.P. Jassar expressed his heartfelt thanks to Mr. Aman Dhanoa Bhagomajra, Jasvir Singh Dhillon, Mandeep Singh (Anchor) and the entire team of Dashmesh Sports Club for showering so much love and respect. 

He urged all the villagers to become soldiers of truth. And said, let us all start planting this tree of truth in our homes so that GREED & LUST can be eradicated from this evil world. As a result, Our future generations can be kind to each other.

Jassar also informed that on this occasion President Kulwant Singh Dhillon said that Dashmesh Sports Club will organize sports fair on a bigger scale next time so that the existence of Punjabi heritage can be kept alive.

MP Jassar ji was specially honored for coming to this program by Dashmesh Sports Club and his entire team. After this, Singer Bani Sandhu and many other artists performed and sang in there styles in the sports fair on the open stage and all the villagers enjoyed this entertainment.

In the Kabaddi tournament, Nandpur was the winner in the 65 kg weight category, there was a technical draw between Bhadson and Dhaler. In a village open kabaddi competition, team of village Dirba won a prize of Rs - 61 thousand and team of Manana won the prize of Rs - 41 thousand by securing second position. 

Jassi Dhur and Bani Samana, who were the best raiders, and Jassa Dirba and Sati Dirba, who were the best stoppers, were all awarded joint each with a buffalo.Many dignitaries from nearby villages including Babal Kharar, Meher Bhai, Sher Singh, Jaila Kharar, Karamjit Banur, Bhura Naymiyan, Deepa Desumajra, Jas Gudana, Sonu Sodhi were also present on the occasion.
