Piyush Sharma from Sem 4th  bagged first position in the essay writing competition on the topic “Blended Learning and Changing Role of Teachers”  held in the premises of Government College for Women(GCW), Udhmapur.

The event was jointly organized by the Read and Lead Club and Department of Music.The College Principal, Dr. Monika Sharma was the chief guest on the second day of Shikshak Parv.Kriti Sharma from Semester 4th and Sukanya Sharma from Semester 4th, bagged the 2nd and 3rd position .

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Monika Sharma divulged that the objective of organizing such activities especially for the student community is to provide an opportunity to share and exchange their views.Dr. Sushma, Prof Rajinder Singh & Prof. Shama acted as judges in the event.  

Meanwhile, Ritu students of Sem 4th  conducted the proceedings of the programme besides Assistant Professor Dr. Meena Gupta  presented the vote of thanks.Among others, HoD Music Dr. Seema Sharam,  HoD Urdu Dr. Mool Raj, Dr. Meena Gupta, Prof Shallu Jasrotia, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Prof. Yash Kumar along with other faculty members, non teaching staff and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.
