Student rallies, Pledge ceremonies, Debates, Painting competitions held across Kupwara

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray, various activities including student rallies, pledge ceremonies, debates and painting competitions were held in different educational institutions across the district to observe 2nd Day of ‘Nasha Mukt J&K Abiyan’. 

On the occasion, Pledge ceremonies were held in various Colleges, Schools, Government Offices to uphold the promise for eradication of the drug menace in the society and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.At GDC Tangdar, Debates regarding Drug Abuse and its ill effects were conducted, besides, student rallies were also held by the College which saw participation of teachers and a large number of students. 

At Government High School Kachaloo in Langate zone, a Nasha Mukt J&K rally was organized which was led by the CEO Kupwara, Abdul Hamid.  Dy. CEO, Principal, teachers and hundreds of students participated in the rally and raised different slogans including “Zindagi Se Rishta Jodo Drugs Se Nata Todo” and “Say No to Drugs Yes to Life” to disseminate awareness among the common masses about the destroying effects of drugs. 

Mass rallies under the banner of ‘Nasha Mukt J&K Abiyan’ were also conducted in various educational institutions across the district which went through streets and corners of the villages to spread information about the deadly effect of drugs on society and importance of a healthy life.
