An Indian-origin man will become the new CEO of Starbucks. He was the CEO of Durex, but now he has quit the post of CEO in Durex. His name is Laxman Narasimhan, he is an Indian-American business executive, he was the chief executive of Reckitt Benckise, was also the chief commercial officer of PepsiCo. He was born on April 15, 1957, in Pune, India.
He has completed his Graduation from the University of Pune College of Engineering. After completing his graduation in Engineering, he went to the U.S for further studies and was admitted in the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton business school.

He worked for the global management consulting firm McKinsey from 1993 to 2012. In 2012, he joined PepsiCo, and with his intelligence and hard work he enhanced his position in this firm. In 2019, he became the CEO(Chief Executive Officer) in Reckitt Benckiser.
In the joining ceremony, Starbucks Board of Directors praised Laxman Narasimhan, saying that he is an inspiring leader and his core experience in business and his unique strategies makes him the perfect driver for their firm to run at a global level. Present CEO Howard Schultz said that when he came to know about Laxman, because of his experience, he got inspired to announce him as the next CEO of Starbucks, he decided to add his name to the chapter of Starbucks. With his decades of experience, he will definitely take the future of Starbucks high. Starbucks said that he will join the firm on October 1st and until then, present CEO Howard Schultz will remain in the post of CEO. Until then, he will work closely with Howard Schultz. After one month, he will acquire the post of CEO of Starbucks.
