TT ‘Twin Tower’ which was located in Noida fell down by the order of the Supreme Court of India. Each News Source talked about the twin tower but most of the audience is still unaware of the real reason behind it.
Story behind its demolition:
Mr. R.K Arora is the owner of Supertech Construction Ltd. Company. He started his journey in the year of 1995 with his companions. He started as a broker initially, and then he expanded his business in real estate. Mr. R.K Arora was the owner of 34 companies. He had established these two buildings in Noida. When this city of Noida was designed, architecture made 14 towers, but Mr. Arora has taken the decision to make two more towers in Noida. The authorities allowed for the 14 towers to be made but for ‘twin tower’ they didn’t give permission to its owners to construct them. After some time they got permission to begin its manufacturing.
But when its construction work started, it was noticed by the other residents of the society that the work for these buildings was being done outside of construction, which is “illegal” because those twin towers were enlarged in size, which surpassed the limits and boundaries that have been mentioned by the authorities.
Then the residents of the society and neighbours have put questions over them and have taken the whole matter to the judiciary. When the High Court ordered its demolition then, the company took this matter to the Supreme Court, and the SC also passed their decision in the favour of residents.
SC ordered in 2014 that its demolition would be in 2021, but due to some reasons they couldn’t destroy it. Final date decided by the authorities was 28 August, 2022 at 2:30 pm. After its demolition mechanical water tanks were used to clean the roads, footpaths, trees and buildings.
