Cyber Jagrukta Club of Government College for Women Udhampur today organized a Poster making competition on the theme “Cyber Safety” under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Monika Sharma.The motive of the activity was to create awareness among the students regarding the issues related to Cyber safety and security. 

As many as thirty five students participated in the event.The event was judged by Sumita Rao (Assistant Professor in Zoology), Sanjeev Upadhyay (HOD Dept. of Sanskrit) and Yash Kumar (Assistant Professor in  Music).Students expressed their ideas in context to Cyber safety through the posters in a very creative and informative way.

Sukanya of Sem-4th secured Ist position,  Saher Shakeel of Sem-4th secured 2nd position  and Anisha Bhat of Sem-2nd  secured 3rd position. Kiran Bhatyal of Sem-4th and Palavi Sharma of Sem-2nd won certificates of appreciation.

The event was organised by  Sarika Mahajan (Assistant Prof. in Electronics), Jugal Kishore (Assistant Prof. in Mathematics), Arun Gupta (Librarian),  Paramjit Singh (HOD Dept. Of Computer Applications), Shallu Jasrotia (Assistant Prof. in Music),  Shama (Assistant Prof. in Dogri) and Pooja Bharti (HOD Dept. of Geography). The Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Monika Sharma appreciated and motivated the participants and organizers of the event.
