Finally, after the breathtaking poster, the teaser of Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film ‘Jogi’ has been released. The makers have dropped the teaser on Youtube, which showcases the story of a young Sikh man, who gets caught up in the 1984 Sikh riots in Delhi. The film Jogi, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will tell the tale of his bravery and chivalry during the terrible riots. The first glimpse of the movie was released on social media yesterday, and it starred Diljit as Jogi, a man who always sticks by his friends and family.
Speaking of the teaser, Diljit has been seen happy and elated with his family before the riots began. But we saw a courageous Diljit who vowed to save his life from the 1984 Riots. Delhi starts burning, and Sikhs are been targeted for the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Sharing the teaser, Netflix wrote, "Dekhiye Jogi ka haunsla, Jogi ki himmat, aur Jogi ki dosti. Jogi, streams on 16th September, only on Netflix." Hence, the film is all set to stream on Netflix in September.

In a recent chat show, Diljit Dosanjh poured his heart out. According to the actor, the subject is very close to his heart. He said, "The year of my birth is 1984 as well. I have grown up hearing about real life experiences and stories about the riots and the era. In fact, I had even made a Punjabi film, Punjab 1984, sometime back, which won a National Film Award as well. So, the subject is really important for me, and Ali sir has picked the right story."
Now, coming to the further credits of Jogi, along with Diljit Dosanjh, the film also stars Kumud Mishra, Amyra Dastur, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and Hiten Tejwani. So, with this amazing cast and crew, brace yourself for an emotional rollercoaster ride.
