On the eve of celebration of 76th Independence Day, Vice Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today hoisted the National Flag during inauguration of an Irrigation Tank under ‘Amrit Sarovar’ scheme at Gagal Wavoora.
Assistant Commissioner Panchayats Kupwara, Shabir Ahmad; Tehsildar Lalpora, AEE I&FC, SDAO and other concerned officials of Irrigation & Flood Control department were present on the occasion.Later, the Vice Chairman participated in main function of Independence Day at District Police Lines Kupwara.
