Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal presides over closing ceremony of 5th phase of Jan Bhagidari se Sushasan- Himachal ka Maha Quiz

Health and Family Welfare and AYUSH Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal presided over the concluding ceremony of the 5th phase of the "Jan Bhagidari se Sushasan- Himachal ka Maha Quiz" being organized by the State Government here today. "Healthy Himachal – Prosperous Himachal" was the theme of the 5th phase of the Maha Quiz held online from 28th June to 12th July 2022.

 On this occasion, Dr. Rajiv Saizal exhorted the citizens to ensure their participation in good governance. He said that during the tenure of the present government, a new era of public welfare has started in the state. He said that 8568 people participated in the 5th phase. In this phase 2308 participants answered questions in English and 6260 participants in Hindi language. 

So far a total 71455 participants have participated in this Maha Quiz which started on 11th May 2022. The Health Minister while congratulating all the participants said that 235 participants who performed best in the 5th phase would be given prize money of Rs 1,000 each.

He also detailed the various schemes being implemented by the state government in the health sector. He said that 6.18 lac families were registered in HIMCARE Scheme and 3.08 lac people have been benefited by spending Rs. 285.35 crore under the scheme. Under the Mukhyamantri Sahara Yojana, an assistance of about Rs 80 crore has been provided to about 20,000 beneficiaries, he added.

The Health Minister presented prize money to the winners of the 5th phase through Direct Benefit Transfer and presented a cheque of prize money to the winners present in the function. He also interacted with the participants of Maha Quiz through video conferencing.

Hem Raj Bairwa, Director National Health Mission, welcomed the Health Minister and other dignitaries and detailed the Maha Quiz.Director Health and Family Welfare Dr. Anita Mahajan presented a vote of thanks.A short documentary film based on Maha Quiz was also screened on the occasion.

Himachal ka Maha Quiz has a total 8 phases and 5 phases have been completed. Interested persons can win cash prizes by participating in the remaining 3 phases. For this they have to register free on MyGov Himachal portal. In each phase, 10 questions based on Central and State Government schemes will be asked in Hindi and English language to be answered in two minutes and 30 seconds. 

After this the page of Maha Quiz gets closed.IT Manager Kishore Sharma, senior officials and dignitaries from NHM, Health, IT and other departments were also present on the occasion among others.
