On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the students & staff of Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh tied Rakhis to trees and celebrated Vriksha Bandhan with great zeal showing their love towards the Nature. The students of BA-LLB, LLB, B. Pharma, B. Sc. Nursing, GNM, ANM etc. made rakhis on the theme “Best out of waste”

Dr. Garima Thakur, Deputy Director, Aryans Group said that “Tree are very important for us and when we save them, we are saving a life and in turn saving ourselves. On this Raksha Bandhan, It’s a heartfelt request to all to protect and nurture trees everywhere around us.”

Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing said that in today’s hustle and bustle we have forgotten to care for our planet. Nature has been ignored since a long time and it is of utmost importance to take corrective steps to protect it. Trees are the lungs of our planet and ensure that all of us have clean air to breathe.
