Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal today reviewed the functioning of Rural Development Department and Panchyati Raj besides took stock of works approved under DDC, BDC and PRI Grants for the financial year 2022-23 in the district. 

Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Zakir Hussain Wani; DPO Kishtwar, Sunil Bhutyal;  Executive Engineer REW, Pershotam Kumar; BDOs, Engineers and technical staff of the RDD attended the meeting.

The ADDC Kishtwar directed the BDOs to achieve 100% physical and financial targets to create durable assets in the Panchayats for the benefit of the public. 

The BDOs were further asked to complete the tendering and allotment of all sanctioned Projects and start the execution of the projects of public importance in stipulated time. 

A threadbare discussion was also held on physical and financial achievements made by the departments under the flagship schemes including MGNREGA, PMAY-G, 14th FC, SBM-G,B2V3,ADF,CD & Panchayats and accordingly necessary directions were passed to the concerned to achieve tangible results. 

Meanwhile ADDC also stressed upon the BDOs to take all out efforts to make the Har Ghar Tiranga, Amrit Sarovar campaign a grand success in their respective blocks.
