The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Riyaz Ahmad Sofi today chaired a meeting to review the progress of works under the District Development Plan/ District Capex budget for the year 2022-23 at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, here. 

During the meeting, the ADDC took a detailed review of allotment of works, works started on ground and works completed, tendering and other related issues.

He directed the officers to achieve the completion targets of the works and ensure expenditure of funds released. He also asked them to personally monitor the quality and progress of all allotted works. 

The ADDC stressed upon officers to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion. During the meeting, it was informed that 2534 works are approved under District Capex and more than 1491 works have been allotted whereas 2204 works have been tendered and 203 works were completed. 

It was also informed that the plan for Aspirational blocks D.K.Marg and Manzgam stands approved and funds have been released. The ADDC directed the officers and implementing agencies of ABDP to expedite the submission of estimates of works of Aspirational Blocks so that the works shall be accorded for timely completion during the financial year. 

The meeting was attended by JD- Planning, ACD, CEO, DYSSO, Ex. Engineer REW, BDOs and other officers.
