A Plantation drive under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav was launched today from Ayush Gram Kishtwar. Around 15 indigenous medicinal plants were planted in the Kukerwas area during the drive conducted under the guidance of the Director Ayush Dr. Mohan Singh. 

As per District Nodal officer AYUSH, Dr. Tariq Hussain the medicinal plants will be beneficial for the local farmers and the public of the area. 

A large number of local farmers participated in the plantation drive.District Ayush Kishtwar is  carrying out  series of plantation drives in various other parts of the district.
