Ranjit Bawa, who has never stayed behind to pour out his opinion, has recently been making the headlines when he remarks on Janhvi Kapoor's latest release ‘GoodLuck Jerry’. The Punjabi artist expressed his disapproval of how the film stereotyped Punjab, its culture, and Punjabis.

Taking to Twitter, Ranjit Bawa has voiced his anger toward the movie. He says ‘Good Luck Jerry’ once again showing Punjab as a state of drug addicts. While tagging the CM of Punjab in the tweet, the actor also asked if Punjab would only be featured as a drug state. He used hashtags- #shame #target #state #Bollywood. But now after the tweet went viral, it does not go positive with some of the Twitter users. Yes, you read that right. At one place where Mitti Da Bawa is showcasing and supporting Punjab's culture, people are criticising and mocking him for the same. While retweeting they write that why he supported Udta Punjab or the central issue is in Punjab that's why ity also highlights when the issue of drugs came out.

During that time, the song has drawn a lot of public furies, primarily from feminine quarters. All of this dispute is the result of a single phrase. In the song, Ranjit Bawa continues, "Lipstick Dass Dindi Soch Teevi Di," which hasn't gone over well with a lot of the audience. The critics accuse the artists of "judging women by the colour of their lipsticks."
