Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing a public meeting at Bhalei in Dalhousie Vidhan Sabha area of Chamba district today announced opening of BDO Office at Bathri in Dalhousie Vidhan Sabha area of the district.

Chief Minister said that he has ensured equitable development in the State and has never discriminated with the area not represented by the BJP. He said that despite the corona pandemic, over two years wasted due to this deadly virus, the present State Government has ensured that the pace of development goes uninterrupted. 

He said that a political party which remained in power for over 50 years in the country, was at the verge of extinction. Now the State leaders of the same party were claiming that they would come to power in the State.

While blaming the Congress for the problem of unemployment, Jai Ram Thakur said that the ‘Berozgar Yatra’ of the opposition was a mere political stunt to mislead the people of the State. 

He said that the State Government would go with facts and figures before the people to counter the false propaganda of the opposition. He said that the main focus of the State Government was on development of the State without the politics of vengeance and vendetta. 

Jai Ram Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always provided all possible help to the State. He said that besides providing special assistance of Rs. 800 crore to the State, the Centre Government has sanctioned developmental projects worth Rs. 10,000 crore for the State. He said that double engine governments at the Centre and the State were vital for ensuring the pace of development goes uninterrupted.   

Later, the Chief Minister visited the famous Bhalei Mata temple and performed puja there.Chairman Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee and local BJP leader D.S. Thakur while welcoming the Chief Minister detailed a few developmental demands of the area. He said that Dalhousie area has witnessed all round development during the present tenure of the State Government. 

He said that 50 bedded civil hospital, ITI, Fire Station and Degree College were opened in the constituency besides several other projects during this period.

Mandal BJP President Dalhousie Vijay Kumar Thakur welcomed the Chief Minister and detailed various developmental projects going on in the constituency. He also urged the Chief Minister to bring the famous Bhalei Mata temple under the control of the State Government.

Deputy Speaker Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Dr. Hans Raj, MLAs Pawan Nayyar and Jia Lal Kapoor, Vice Chairman SC/ST Corporation Jai Singh, District BJP President Jasbir Nagpal and other BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
