The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and DH Pora to take firsthand appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.The Block Diwas programme witnessed overwhelming response of people at all the three locations where locals highlighted their issues, grievances for early redressal.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, Additional Development Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather presided over a grievance redressal camp at Mirbazar where he listened to the public to redress their issues and accept genuine demands.

DDC Chairperson Mohd Afzal Parrey; DDC members from Pahloo and Devsar besides PRI members, officers from District Administration were also present during the Block Diwas.People from Shahoo, Pahloo, Aakhran, Kilam and several other areas flagged-off various demands and put forth their issues for early redressal.

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.The ADC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.Meanwhile grievances redressal camps were also held at Block  Kulgam and D.H.Pora where officers remained available to listen and redress the issues and grievances of people.
