4 day Covid-19 Vaccination Camp kick starts in GCW Udhampur

NSS Unit of Government College for Women, Udhampur today inaugurated 4-day Covid-19 Vaccination Camp (Booster Dose) in the college premises under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The camp was organised under the supervision of NSS POs Prof. Sumita Rao and Prof Sanjay Kumar in collaboration with the Health Department, Udhampur.

Speaking on the occasion, the College Principal, Dr. Monika Sharma, congratulated and appreciated the efforts of faculty involved in organisation of the event.Besides, expressing gratitude to the Health Department, she was impressed upon the significance of administration of Booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the present scenario as the cases of Covid-19 rising day by day.

She further motivated the students to spread the message to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour and get vaccinated as soon as possible.The First Shot was administered to Dr. Sanjeet Kour, Nodal Officer of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the GCW Udhampur.About 200 students and staff members of the college were administered the booster dose.  All the SOPs were observed during the conduct of the whole camp. Davinder Gupta, Senior Pharmacist of the college convened the whole event.
