One of the most anticipated holy films, ‘Ramayana’ has been in the news for a few years. And now it has been confirmed that the film will be shot soon. Not only this, but the probable cast of the sacred story ‘Ramayana’ has also been making rounds on the internet. The mythological epic, which is said to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari, might star Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Hrithik Roshan as Raavan.
If sources are to be believed Ramayana will go on floors as early as Mid-2023. An official announcement of the project will be made this Diwali with the star cast and shooting schedule. "Ramayana is among the biggest Indian films of all time and the makers have pulled off a casting coup by signing two of the biggest millenial stars - Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor. Both the actors have agreed in pricipal to be a part of this film and have tentatively blocked their calenders from mid next year for Ramayana," the source told the news portal.
"The paperwork still remains and the same is expected to be done once Nitesh Tiwari gives a final narration of his Ramayana Rendition. It will be a high-on VFX story, staying true to the roots of Ramayana," source further added.

Further, for the role of Sita, Deepika Padukone has been claimed to be the best who can act and star opposite Ranbir Kapoor, but nothing has been confirmed yet. We hope the makers will not keep us waiting for much longer and will surely uncover the details soon. It has also been stated that the upcoming mythological tale will be made on a whopping budget and will mark the first collaboration of these two big stars.
The movie Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor, is scheduled to open in theatres on July 22, 2022. Alongside Alia Bhatt, he also has Brahmastra scheduled for release in September. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan is now preparing for the release of Vikram Vedha, a film in which he will co-star alongside Saif Ali Khan.
