Earlier this week, it was claimed that Salman Khan and Devi Sri Prasad had split up over creative differences. However, it has recently been rumoured that Salman Khan and the well-known artist will work together on his upcoming project, which is now called Bhaijaan (also known as Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali). While information regarding the song is presently being kept under wraps, yet another development is that the performer will be working with rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh.
“In fact this will be the first time we will see such a blockbuster combination of the trio for a song,” informed a source to a news portal. Interestingly, this will be the first time where Yo Yo Honey Singh and Devi Sri Prasad will be collaborating on a song. In an earlier report, the source had revealed that Salman Khan is going all out for his next film. “Salman is leaving no stone unturned to make his next an entertainer. He is clear on making it an event film, and doesn't want to compromise on any aspect, including the music," the source had added.
While DSP and Salman collaborated on the smash hit Dhinka Chika from Ready, which was followed by songs from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Jai Ho, and Radhe, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Salman worked together on the adored Yaar Na Miley from Kick. Speaking about Bhaijaan, it stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh, and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, along with a supporting cast that includes Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari, and Raghav. The team has finished a demanding schedule in Hyderabad and will pick up shooting in Mumbai shortly.
According to reports, the film is an action-entertainment hybrid of the action, comedy, romance, and drama genres. Farhad Samji is the film's director, while Salman Khan Films (SKF) are the producers. Along with DSP, Ravi Basrur, who is also responsible for the film's background score, contributed a composition to the album.
Meanwhile, on the work front, reportedly, after the shoot of Bhaijaan (Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali), Salman Khan is expected to start shooting for Anees Bazmee directorial, the comic caper, No Entry 2 with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan.
