ADDC Shopian holds meeting with Traders Association

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Manzoor Hussain today held a meeting with a delegation of Traders Association Shopian, here.The delegation headed by Ghulam Nabi Turray raised several issues before the ADDC including beautification of the town, more washroom facilities in the town, more Snow Cutters for winters, better drainage system near IMGDC Shopian, repairs of lanes and bylanes, etc.  

They also highlighted other developmental issues like upgrading pathways for pedestrians.The delegation appreciated and thanked the District Administration Shopian for providing potable drinking water and uninterrupted power supply to the inhabitants of their respective areas of the district.

The ADDC gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that all their concerns and public welfare demands shall be looked into for appropriate action and redressed on priority.The ADDC also assured them that he will conduct the visit to the area to have on the spot assessment of the issues and demands.

On the occasion, the ADDC said that all measures will be taken to address the genuine concerns of the traders.The Chief Planning Officer, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana and other officers and officials were present on the occasion.
