District Development Council, Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand, along with Chairman Block Development Council Udhampur Balwan Singh, today conducted an extensive tour of Panchayat Tirshi Narore.

 During the visit, the DDC Chairperson reviewed the ongoing construction work  of the Community Facility Centre under 14th FC and launched its slab work in presence of Chairman Block Development Council Udhampur Balwan Singh, Sarpanch Pawan Sharma, PRI Members and locals of the area.

The DDC Chairperson directed the authorities to complete the construction work in a time bound manner to provide early benefit of the CFC Building to locals.En-route, the DDC Chairperson also inspected the construction of Pond funded under MGNREGA and appreciated the efforts of concerned Panch, Naib Sarpanch and Sarpanch. 

He hoped that the Panchayat would continue to take up projects of this nature under MGNREGA which have potential to benefit the maximum number of people. Inspecting PMGSY Gandala to Tirshi road, the DDC Chairperson took serious note over use of hume pipes at a place where there was dire need of RCC Culvert. He directed  the XEN PMGSY to construct the culvert at an earliest so that the general masses may not suffer for want of better connectivity.
