District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the annual action plan under Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana and SCA to SCSP.Officers present in the meeting included ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ACD, Vijay Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; Dy CMO, Dr Anees Altaf Nabi; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt, AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone and other concerned officers.
At the outset, the DSWO informed that the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY) was a rural development program launched by the central government for the development of villages with more than 50% scheduled castes population through the convergence of central and state schemes and the allocation of financial funding on a per village basis.
Similarly, while highlighting the SCA to SCSP scheme, he said that it is a central scheme under which 100% grant is given to the States/UTs as an additive to their Scheduled Castes Sub Plan (SCSP).During the meeting, thorough deliberations on the proposed plans of PMGAY and SCA to SCSP for the financial year 2022-23 were discussed.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to work in tandem and also put in dedicated efforts and work in tandem for the effective implementation of the schemes on ground so that necessary benefits are provided to the targeted population.
