Rohit Shetty's one of the most successful franchises still remains ‘Singham’. It was with Singham that he first began his cop career. In both Singham 1 and Singham 2, it was Ajay Devgn who wowed everyone by playing the badass act. Then there was Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty's Simmba as a cop, followed by Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi as a cop. Despite the fact that Ajay Devgn appeared in both Simmba and Sooryavashi, he will now once again beat up on thugs in Singham 3. Yes, it has been confirmed by Rohit Shetty.
He stated that he is planning to begin work on Singham 3 post the release on Ranveer Singh's Cirkus. So they will begin work post-April next year. Now, the blockbuster filmmaker is all set to take his cinematic universe forward with the latest instalment of Singham. Rohit, who is currently busy in shooting Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, told news portal, “I am focussing on the next chapter of Singham. We will be starting the film in April next year.”

Exaggerating on the same, he added, “While Singham is technically part of Simba and Sooryavanshi, it’s been a long time since I worked with Ajay. The last Singham came in 2014 and is yet one of the most favourite films on satellite. Time has changed and the canvas has become bigger and I have been wanting to make something with Ajay.”
Meanwhile, Rohit's next film, Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, will be released in December 2022. He's also working on the Indian Police Force, a web series starring Sidharth Malhotra that will be his OTT debut.
