Recently, a piece of news has been going viral a lot, which says that Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhanth Kapoor has been arrested by the Bengaluru Police for allegedly consuming drugs at a rave party in the city on Sunday night (12 June). According to the news reports, “he is among the 6 people allegedly found to have consumed drugs”, as told by Bengaluru Police. "Siddhanth has tested positive for drugs, he has been brought to Ulsoor Police Station," said Dr Bheemashankar S. Guled, DCP, East Division, Bengaluru City.

Further, when asked about his son’s detention, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor had a shocked reaction. Reportedly, he replied, “I can say only one thing – it’s not possible”. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the Kapoor family was only aware of Siddhanth Kapoor’s visit to Bengaluru. They did not even have any information about the hotel he was staying in.

For the unversed, Siddhanth made his acting debut in Salman Khan's Judwaa in 1997, in which he played young Rangeela. Following that, he worked as an assistant director on films such as Bhool Bhulaiya and Chup Chup Ke. In 2013, he made his acting comeback with Shootout at Wadala, followed by roles in Ugly, Jazbaa, and Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. In Haseena Parkar, he collaborated with Shraddha Kapoor.

Moreover, actress Shraddha was interrogated for several hours at a Narcotics Control Bureau zonal office in 2020 in connection with a narcotics case involving the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Shraddha had gone to Sushant's Chhichhore triumph bash at his Pawana farmhouse, but she had denied taking narcotics.
