A team of senior officers of District Administration led by District Programme Officer (DPO), Mohammad Ashraf Hakak who is also holding the charge of Additional District Development Commissioner today visited remote and far-flung areas of the district including Nagwani, Dardpora and Sumlar. 

The team led by DPO included District Development Council Member Arin Gh Mohiuddin, CDPO Bandipora, Officials of Health department, FCS&CA, and Rural Development.During the visit, the team inspected the under construction building of Animal Husbandry Centre Nagwani, being constructed  at an estimated  cost of Rs. 70 lacs.

The team also visited Ziyarat sharief, Baji Mian Ghulam Ehsaa Nagwani Dardpora, Govt Middle School Nagwani and took first hand appraisal of various facilities at Dardpora, Sumlar, Kudara and other areas.

The team inspected various works being carried out under development plans of PRI and BDC grants and also held discussions with PRIs and the general public of these areas.Demand of establishment of Health Centre at Nagwani, transport facilities from Bandipora to Nagwani, upgradation of Middle school Nagwani, Development of the area as tourist spot, upgradation of health & wellness centre Dardpora to PHC level, early completion of Chuntimulla-Kudara PMGSY road, provision of solar lights in Nagwani, Dardpora and adjacent areas and various other demands were put forth by public.

Hakak passed on spot directions to concerned departments for redressal of various issues and directed for redressal of public grievances in a time bound manner. While showing dismay over delay in execution of Chontimulla-Kudara road being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 480.74 lacs, Concerned Executing agencies were directed to expedite the work and complete the work by making all possible efforts.
