The makers of Joker have announced the second part of the most popular, loved, and notable American psychological thriller film. ‘Joker’ has not only bagged immense appreciation but has also been praised for its story, direction, and acting.
As the sequel to the film is currently in the works, the director of the film, Todd Phillips, lately teased the fans with a glimpse of the script while revealing the title of the movie. Todd Phillips, who previously helmed and produced the 2019 film Joker, recently uploaded two photos on his official Instagram account, one of which had a snippet from the film's script with the name Joker: Folie a Deux.
Folie a Deux is defined as “the presence of the same or similar delusional ideas in two people closely associated with one another.” Fans suspected that Harley Quinn could be in the sequel. The actor who portrays the title character, Joaquin Phoenix, in the picture, can be seen smoking a cigarette while holding the screenplay in his hand in the next one.
Meanwhile, speaking of Joker, the movie won the Golden Lion award at the 76th Venice International Film Festival and even earned leading 11 nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay, winning Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix and Best Original Score for Hildur Guðnadóttir.
