Sidhu Moosewala, a Punjabi musician and Congress leader, was brutally murdered on May 29 in Jawahar Ke village in Punjab's Mansa district, leaving other artists, fans, and followers horrified and devastated. Several Punjabi actors and singers, along with fans, took to social media to share their condolences on the death of the ‘Legend’ artist. But a few days after his death, his friend turned competitor, NseeB, with whom Sidhu worked on his most popular song, ‘Old Skool’ took to social media and shared a long, heartfelt note for the late singer.
Though NseeB revealed that he didn’t want to post anything as it was hard to process the news. But he gathered courage and shared a post on his Instagram. The post reads, ‘I didn't want to post any pictures or pour my heart out, but I couldn't keep myself away from this. Though we both didn't talk for the past one and a half years, I have not forgotten anything.” NseeB then added the things Sidhu told him earlier. The post further reads, “pr menu ajj v kyi gllan bhulliyan ni ,Sidhu menu shuru tou ik gll kehnda c k nseeb tu sidha bahla chlda tenu thora pyaar rakhna chahida boli ch , tere dill ch kuj ni hunda pr tu sbb agge marah vjjda korepnn krke .”
Sidhu was right, the world doesn't like and tolerate the success of great people. The caption reads, “Sidhu shi c sache tae sidhe bnde nu ae duniya kde jrdi ni , pr mittra tenu rehndi duniyan tkk yaad rkheya jau . mere dill da bhar mae haula krn lga k mae tetho chota c ummr atae andaze vich menu maaf kri ,menu ess gll da koi khed nhi k sma milda ta zrur sare gusse gille durr krda mil k jo hun mumkin nhi .. alwida mittra . He further ends the note by paying a tribute to Sidhu Moosewala and using the hashtag Justice For Sidhu Moosewala.
It has been great that NseeB has finally broken his silence and poured his heart out. The duo have won our hearts in Old Skool and the song has become the much-loved song of 2020. Not only NseeB but Prem Dhillon and Karan Aujla too expressed their grievance and sadness for the loss. And revealed that though they didn’t talk, and had some grudges, they really felt bad that the great star had paid for his life and left the world too soon!
