Chairman District Development Council Reasi Saraf Singh Nag along with Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal today conducted Public outreach camp here at Panchayat Dugga of block Arnas under the weekly block Diwas program.The Deputy Commissioner started the day's proceedings by interacting with the PRIs and locals. She listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redressal of genuine issues.

Prominent issues raised at the meeting included shortage of teaching staff and lack of infrastructure in some primary schools, shortage of drinking water   in Lamsora and erratic power supply.The issue of stalled construction of Health Subcentre at Dugga and problems faced by the locals due to execution of national level projects were also highlighted. On this occasion, Saraf Singh Nag also listened to grievances being raised by the PRIs and the public and issued directions to the concerned quarters for their early disposal.

Some issues were also resolved on the spot after face to face deliberations between district officers, public representatives and the general public. The Deputy Commissioner also passed directions for completion of developmental works within stipulated time and ensured benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes like MGNREGA PMAY--G Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojna and other schemes in transparent manner as deliverables of good governance.

The camp was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Abdul Star; PO ICDS, Mohd Anwar; Assistant Commissioner Development Dr Anirudh  Rai, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer among various other district officers  along with PRIs, BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
