In between the demise of Sidhu Moosewala, another case that has been making headlines on Monday (30 May) was the Kartar Cheema case. A minor scuffle between Cheema and Punjab President National Student Union of India (NSUI) Akshay Kumar over a monetary dispute in Amritsar. It has been reported that the artist was arrested by Civil Police and later they released him after a questioning session.
His video has been viral in no time but now the actor took to his social media and clarified the same. He held a live session on Instagram in which he said how fake allegations are being made against him and more. He also says that he is a family man and belongs to a good family, so he would never think of doing the same. Also, he hasn't done anything, so he wants a proper investigation.

Adding more, he revealed that people can check his previous records and he guarantees that he has not been involved in any such case. After this clarification, he expressed his anger as well as sorrow for the media who are releasing false reports against him. In between this huge tragedy (Sidhu Moosewala’s demise), he has been involved in a false case.
He said it's just a publicity stunt, otherwise one can wait for the right time. Also, if the person is genuine why is he waiting for 2-3 years and why was this issue not brought to notice before?. For the unversed, Kartar Cheema was accused of not returning Akshay's money in the complaint. It has been stated that Kartar had borrowed about Rs 25 lakh from him for a film, and has been hoarding the money for more than two years. When Akshay urged Kartar to refund his money, the actor intimidated him and made Canada-based thug Goldy Brar threaten him over the phone, according to Akshay.
