But apart from that Farhad Samji's directorial is generating a lot of discussion among moviegoers, from its intriguing cast to their pay. However, the most intriguing aspect of the
film that has gotten a lot of notice is the cast's 'bunch of south stars.' Earlier it was reported that
Pooja Hedge and Venkatesh Daggubati were parts of the most anticipated film. But now another name has joined the list of South actors.
It is none other than Jagapathi Babu. He will write poetry as an antagonist in the film. A source told news portals, "Salman Khan is making a pan-India film and is leaving no stone unturned on the casting front. He sat down with his team and hand-picked the actors of his choice. The first to be locked on the film was Pooja Hegde, followed by his close friend, Venkatesh. And now, Salman has got another actor from the Telugu industry on board and it's none other than Jagapathi Babu.”
Another fact that has been out, is that Jagapathi Babu was supposed to star in Dabangg 3, but couldn’t do the film due to date issues. "And now, when Salman offered him this role, he instantly came on board. The team wanted an ideal villain in the film to fight Salman and Venkatesh, and there's no one better than Jagapathi to do that," the source added. Meanwhile, apart from south stars, the film also features Punjabi artists like Shehnaaz Gill and Jassie Gill. reports also reveal that Siddarth Nigam also plays a pivotal role in the film.
