One of India's longest-running sitcoms Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has a large fan base for both its content and its actors. However, a couple of days ago reports have been viral that Shailesh Lodha aka Taarak Mehta has been leaving the show for a few reasons. Though no confirmation has been out. And now, another news has been making rounds on the internet, it reads that one of the female starrer may leave the show soon. Who? It's Munmun Dutta, aka 'Babija Ji.' According to recent media reports, the producers of Bigg Boss OTT are planning a new season and have approached Munmun for the same.

Nothing has been confirmed in this regard, though. Munmun Dutta, along with Surbhi Chandna, Vishal Puri, and Akanksha Puri, debuted as a contestant on the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 15 during the 'Ticket to Finale' assignment. Now she might appear in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 which will be hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. Further, this is not the first time she is marking in the headlines for quitting the show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Earlier last year, the actress was said to have left the show after failing to appear on set for a month.

"Munmun has not reported to the sets since she became engaged in the 'Bhangi' statement scandal," a source told at that time. “And there's a strong possibility that she'll depart the show shortly,” they added. However, later, Munmun explained that she was absent from the sets because the plot did not require her presence. She was quoted saying, “People are saying that I did not report on the sets of the show and it is totally untrue. The truth is that the track in the show did not require my presence. Therefore, I was not called for shooting. Production decides the scenes and the next track. I haven't decided that. I am just an individual who goes to work, does her job and comes back. So if I am not required in the scenes, I will obviously not shoot.”
