Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Vijay Singla, on Tuesday, inaugurated fully automatic Arm In B.P. monitor at Ayurvedic Dispensary, Punjab Civil Secretariat-1, Chandigarh.Dr. Singla said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government has installed these modern Arm In B.P. monitors in all district and sub divisional hospitals in the state. In this series, on World Hypertension Day today these fully automatic BP monitoring machines have been inaugurated at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 & 2 and Directorate of Punjab Health and Family Welfare Department here. 

Secretariat employees union also thanked Mr Vijay Singla for this noble initiative and and urged the minister to fill the post of medical officer lying vacant at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1. The minister assured that the post would be filled within a week.On this occasion, Director Health and Family Welfare Dr. GB Singh, Registrar Guru Ravidas Ayurvedic University Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Director Ayurveda Punjab Dr. Shashi Bhushan, District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr Parvinder Singh, Ayurvedic medical Officer Dr Amanpreet Kaur and several others were also present.
