After the Gyanvapi Masjid case, disputes over temples and mosques have started across the country. The matter is gaining momentum. Amidst all these controversies, Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj has given fuel to a new debate with an old claim of his own. Time will tell what this wind will take, but the discussion has started on it. Sakshi Maharaj said- Jama Masjid, built on the banks of river Yamuna in Delhi, was built by demolishing the temple of Lord Vishnu. If Jama Masjid is examined, then idols of ancient Hindu gods and goddesses will be found from there too. He has also said in clear words that he is ready to face all kinds of punishment if his claim is proved wrong.  There he met some journalists.

While interacting with the journalists, Sakshi Maharaj said that what has come out in the survey regarding Gyanvapi Masjid is both pleasant and sad. Pleasant because the penance of Nandi, who has been waiting for the darshan of his beloved for years, has been completed. With this, the wishes of crores of Shiva devotees have been fulfilled and, sadly because of how the Muslim invaders who came to India humiliated us and crushed our faith, this pain can be felt by looking at the Shivling found in Gyanvapi. . This is not the first time Sakshi Maharaj has given such a statement on Jama Masjid. In 1991, while being a Mathura MP, he had given a statement to get Delhi's Jama Masjid investigated. He is firm on that statement even today and challenges all the Muslim leaders and parties to get the Jama Masjid excavated. If his claim turns out to be false, he is ready to face any punishment. Not only this, if he is given the death penalty for this, he will accept that too.

What has happened in Gyanvapi so far?

The court had ordered a survey of the Gyanvapi mosque. After the survey, it has been claimed from the Hindu side that Shivling was found in the well of the mosque. On the other hand, the Muslim side says that this is not a Shivling but a fountain. There is no hole in the Shivling, whereas it has a 35 feet deep hole. Such fountains are made in many mosques. This whole matter is under the court, the decision on this is expected soon.
