Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur are preparing for their upcoming film. But the title of the film was kept under the wraps. Now the makers have disclosed the title and amazed the fans with prominent details. For the unversed, the upcoming crime thriller film has been titled ‘Gumraah’ And it is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil hit ‘
Thadam’. The original film featured Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep.
Speaking of the story, Gumraah is based on true events. And this crime thriller features Aditya Roy Kapur who will be seen in a double role for the very first time in two completely different avatars and Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing a Cop. This thriller film will depict an ardent face-off between Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur.Not only this, but reports also suggest that Aditya Roy Kapur has completed the first leg of the movie and will begin the second leg on 10 May along with Mrunal Thakur. The Jersey actress has kick-started the second schedule in Mumbai and Ronit Roy will be joining the shoot soon.
Moreover, the upcoming thriller has been directed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar and it is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.Now, if discussing both the artists’ works front then apart from 'Gumraah', Aditya also has Kapil Verma's 'Om - The Battle Within' with Sanjana Sanghi. He will also be seen in the remake of the British series 'The Night Manager'. Mrunal on the other hand was last seen in 'Jersey' and has 'Aankh Micholi', 'Pippa' and Telugu film 'Sita Ramam' in the pipeline.
