What happened-
Sikh for Justice chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu had announced Friday to celebrate the foundation day of Khalistan a few days ago. In response to this, Shiv Sena's state working president Harish Singla had announced to take out Khalistan Murdabad March on Friday after holding a press conference.Violent clashes broke out between Shiv Sainik and Khalistan supporters over the issue of Khalistan. This process started at around 11 am on Friday and went on till three in the afternoon.
The police brought the situation under control by barely dispersing both sides. The question is that for the last one week, there was a possibility of people from both sides facing the issue of Khalistan in the city on Friday, then why did the police not make concrete arrangements to deal with this situation, the top cops were charged and they were transferred.
