The Congress government has been claiming to convert government schools into smart schools in Punjab. But even if we talk about the schools of Mohali district ,  we already know  how smart the  schools  has become. Schools do not become smart just by having good paint outside the schools. Rather, there is a need to raise the level of education there. This was stated by BJP's candidate from Mohali Assembly Constituency Sanjeev Vashisht while addressing the people in Industrial Area Phase 8B and Village Badmajar during his election campaign on Friday. He alleged that the teachers are seen more protesting on the streets than teaching in the school . Haryana Assembly Speaker and Panchkula MLA Gian Chand Gupta, Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh, Chandigarh BJP president Sanjay Tandon were present on the occasion.

Vashisht said that he promises the people that if he gets the love and support of the people, then his first priority will be to raise the standard of education by upgrading the government school in the district ,so that children can be provided better education for their  bright future . He said that many political parties are trying to  lure people  by giving  free material, but people do not need free goods but good education and good hospitals for the treatment of  their nearer dearer . If any political party would   work in this direction, then they  need not to give different types of inducements to the people to ask for votes during the days of elections.  At the moment ,he also made people aware about the better schemes issued by the Modi government at the Center. He also said that this time if the BJP government is formed in Punjab, the people of Punjab will be benefited with these facilities.
