All parties are talking about strengthening Punjab, which has become economically weak or giving jobs to the youth. But no party is describing the steps to be taken to do all this. This was stated by BJP candidate Sanjeev during an election meeting in Sambhalki village. Vashisht said that BJP is the only party which would bring agro based industry in Punjab for strengthening the farmers in the state to make Punjab economically strong. This would not only strengthen the economic position of Punjab but also increase the income of farmers. However, due to the poor policies of the Congress in the last five years, not only the industries have migrated from the state but also the Congress government has not taken any steps to improve the condition of the farmers.

Sanjeev Vashisht said that Congress had made Punjab a mafia haven. While the BJP governments of other states of the country have   become almost mafia free.  After coming in power BJP government will make Punjab a corruption free state by taking action on drug smugglers, land mafia, sand mafia. At the same time a law would be enacted use the Shamlat land of that villages for the welfare of the people of the village.Meanwhile, the people of Sambhalki village also shared their grievances with Sanjeev Vashisht, pointing out the lack of basic facilities in the village and asked him to find a solution. The BJP candidate assured them  as soon as the BJP government came to power, the Union government would bring projects for the basic needs including health care, better education of children, sanitation, drinking water, sewerage. A large number of people including Hardev Singh, Monty Sarpanch, Baldev Bhalwan, Chand Ram, Om Prakash, Neeraj, Gopal, Sahil, Jaipal were present on the occasion.
